Local taxicab operator says he won’t comply with ordinance (Maryville Daily Forum)
The owner of a local yellow cab company claims he is not subject to the provisions of a vehicles-for-hire ordinance passed earlier this month by the Maryville City Council, and said he does not intend to comply with its provisions, which include a background check and the hold of municipal owner’s and operator’s permits.
